We were asked by a new customer in Scotland to replace a pump that was manufactured by a competitor that had gone out of business. As we manufacture all our pumps here in the UK, it was no problem for us to tweak our design so that we could build a directly interchangeable pump with the same suction and discharge pipework, along with the modified mounting plate.

The VSL plastic pump is installed in an atex zoned fume scrubber and manufactured from polypropylene.

The distinct advantage of our VSL vertical chemical pumps is that they are sealless, meaning they can be run dry indefinitely without damage.
