The Crest CRS Rope mop oil skimmer operates by trawling a large surface area with a continuous loop of oleophilic (oil attracting) polypropylene rope. This is then squeezed and the oil collected in a separating tank.

 

The CRS water oil separator is suitable as an emergency response or for continuous deployment. It can also recover a wide spectrum of oils from light benzenes’ to heavy oil.  

 


Different applications include pits, deep sumps among other locations where access is restricted.  The CRS rope mop oil skimmer can easily operate in areas where there is light debris.
