Chinook Sciences

Chinook Sciences started construction on their IES ASR waste to energy plant in Oldbury, which would recover over 10,000 tonnes of metal to generate over 40 MW of environmentally friendly electricity each year.

Chinook utilized the AMX and ECC-B range to handle corrosive chemicals in the recycling process. The Pumps were customized to ensure reliable pumping in an ATEX Zone 2 area.

Agrivert Ltd

As part of the pasteurization process of the food recycling programme in Oxfordshire, the Crest range of biofuel pumps transfer the waste product in and out of storage where the food waste is turned into biogas, methane or a fertilizer.

The conditions inside the pump have to match the particular conditions inside the storage tank which is checked daily. Crest Pumps Group supplied fully customized PPM process pumps to ensure that the pumps met the exact process requirements of Agrivert.

 Fernbrook Bio

Fernbrook Bio lead the industry for small to medium sized businesses utilizing Anaerobic digestion for fertilizer. Our ECC-B pumps process the bio-fertilizer and the methane gas, made from the 30,000 tonnes of organic waste each year. Providing electricity for over 2,000 homes in the local area. Crest were chosen due to our unique ability to tailor build pumps to match the existing pipework already installed, whilst keeping prices competitive and the lead time quick.
