These slurry pumps feature shafts supported above the baseplate by two or three bearings, allowing the lower part of the pump to operate without additional bearings or supports. Most submerged parts, except the internal casing and impeller components, are either rubber lined or made from Hardalloy for added resilience. The MEC range shares similar features with the Jolly range but differs in its mounting system. Instead of cantilever brackets, these pumps are supported by a strong metallic structure with a lifting eyebolt, allowing them to be suspended vertically inside tanks or wells using a metallic rope, chain, or other suspension devices. The AUS range also has a design similar to the Jolly series, with the added benefit of run-dry capability. This unique feature enables the pump to operate without damage, even when running dry, and it can reprime itself once the liquid level returns to normal. These pumps are ideal for applications with intermittent flow. ### **Rubber Lined Submersible Pumps** The Pemo Submersible Pumps are built for durability and minimal maintenance. All of these pumps are designed to handle challenging conditions, including aggressive fluids with large solid particles and high solid concentrations. Horizontal slurry pumps are equipped with double seals in a back-to-back configuration and feature a clean water flush from an external source. The pump casings and impellers are rubber lined or made from Hardalloy, ensuring durability. The AO/TD range is reinforced with stronger bearings, enhancing bearing life and reducing the need for maintenance. All models can be powered using either a flexible coaxial joint or v-belts, with the latter offering precise control over the pump’s rotational speed.
