ecc pump terms

Our ECC/B Range of Mechanical Seal Chemical pumps have been perfected over 40 years, built to a heavy duty standard in a range of durable plastics such as Polypropylene, PVC, PTFE and PVDF. All pumps are machined from solid, ensuring the ultimate robustness against adverse conditions.

The ECC/B range is available as close coupled (ECC) and long coupled (ECB) to ISO2858 certifications.

Being entirely manufactured in the UK, Crest offer a completely flexible design to meet your specification. For example, we can make it easy for you to replace a non-standard pump by modifying the new Crest Pump to your existing pipework setup.

Heavy duty Build

Our ECC/B Range of Mechanical Seal Chemical pumps are built to deal with some of the most corrosive applications in the industry. All wetted parts are machined from solid blocks of plastic for the ultimate in robust construction. However, all pipeline forces are absorbed by a rugged steel shell. The sleeved stainless steel shaft is oversized to minimise shaft deflection and increase the life of the mechanical seal increasing the mean time between maintenance.

Flexibility to design requirements

Being entirely manufactured in the UK, Crest offer a completely flexible design to meet your specification. For example, we can make it easy for you to replace a non-standard pump by modifying the new Crest Pump to your existing pipework setup.

Machined from Solid

All of our mechanically sealed chemical pumps are machined from solid, ensuring a greater strength and versatility in extreme and hazardous environments.

ISO2858 specifications

ECC plastic pumps are built to ISO2858 enabling a simple swap should you be replacing an inferior pump.

Choice of durable materials

The ECC range is available in Polypropylene / PVDF / PTFE and PVC for flexibility on your production line.

18 Month Warranty

The whole range of mechanically sealed chemical pumps come with 18 month warranty as standard (longer warranties available upon request), as an assurance to your business that our pumps are quality built. We have pumps still pumping since installation over 30 years ago!

No obsolete part Policy

All of our pumps come with our No Obsolete Parts policy, meaning if you have a Crest pump for 40 years, we will still be able to provide you with parts and an exact replacement to minimise disruption to your production line.

Open and closed coupling

This range of horizontal end suction centrifugal pumps are available close coupled (ECC) and long coupled (ECB) to ISO2858.
