Ferrier came to us looking for some specialist pumps for a regular customer of theirs. They were building a rig to carry out scientific analysis of sea water from a special survey ship, working out in the far ocean. They needed pumps large enough to transfer 300m3/hr of seawater but also be able to survive the tough environment! Our SHL pumps are the ideal choice for harsh conditions as we can supply the pumps in special Duplex Stainless Steel, with IP65 marinized motors and a tough marine paint finish. Crest were able to supply the pumps on time and they are more than up to the task!
